| Description: | In collaboration with Dr. Delfino Guevara and Isla Animals, PEACE Isla Mujeres is happy to announce our sponsorship of a free animal spay/neuter clinic on Isla Mujeres, which took place on February 24th-26th.
Due to a semi-recent Parvovirus outbreak on Isla, the clinic focused specifically on the stray cat population of Isla. We understand that the stray cat population is a problem for everyone; residents, business owners, tourists and the animals themselves.
We are proud to report that in just three days 55 cats were sterilized, vaccinated for Rabies, monitored for recovery and released.
